Retirement Income Lab provides educational tools for retirement income decision-making. This policy explains what information may be collected through this website and how it may be used.

Information you provide

You may provide contact information, quiz answers, intake responses, payment-related information through Stripe, and messages you send by email. The intake is designed for planning context and should not include Social Security numbers, account numbers, passwords, identity documents, or complete tax returns.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Retirement Income Lab does not receive or store your full card number. Stripe may collect and process payment information according to its own policies.

How information is used

Information may be used to provide access to purchased materials, respond to questions, improve educational tools, and determine whether a paid decision review may be appropriate.

AI-assisted intake

Future versions of the Starter Kit may use AI-assisted workflows to summarize intake responses and organize planning context. AI output is not a substitute for individualized professional advice.
